Our approach for Psychological Counseling falls into three general categories:
(1) Behavioural
(2) Humanistic
(3) Psychoanalytic.

Behavioral counseling work with conscious processes and focus on cognitions and behavior. Here the counselor encourages the individual to reason out with them in order that the individual can experience for themselves the effect of logic upon their arbitrary inferences and distorted cognitions. The aim is to improve and alter their negative self-concepts and world views. It’s often effective at depression of any kind and mood disorder and for development.

Humanistic counseling seeks to empower the client through self-actualization – working with the ‘here and now’. The whole process is very intellectually satisfying, flexible and widely applicable to almost all problems. The aim is to help individual come to terms with themselves and life with all its paradoxes and complications.

Psychoanalysis draws heavily on the aspect or element constituting personality. This is a form of counseling aimed at providing the client insight into his or her unconscious motivations and impulses. Usually, these unconscious or hidden beings get projected by the way of act, communication verbal or non-verbal through symbols. People form perception in the stages of development and certain kind of drives, defence mechanism and personality get created. This reflects in their representations of self, while in talk, they hold certain things. Deliberately holding back real personality where normal conversation would suggest something else. Such withholding seems to give rise to negative feelings within the individual. Hence encouragement is given to individual to say whatever comes into their head even if it seems meaningless.
